The State Community Service Project Committee is a committee created to assist each chapter and region of Virginia TSA in beginning or bettering its involvement in community service in its area. The committee also creates and carries out a community service project state-wide.

This year, Virginia TSA has chosen to partner with Relay for Life (RFL) for its state and local community service projects. In partnering, each region/chapter is encouraged to register members within their chapter/region who are interested in representing Virginia TSA in Relay for Life. They are also encouraged to contact a Relay for Life representative in their area to obtain any further information regarding involvement in their specific chapter/region. They then begin preparing for the Relay for Life event(s) in their area. Also, as a part of being involved in RFL events, it is suggested that each chapter/region hold fundraisers and serve in any capacity as directed by their local RFL representative.
