Careers in Technology Education

TSA members represent students with many interests and talents. Our competitive events are wide ranging because the scope of technology is ever expanding. There is not an employer today that does not seek the most technologically literate employees who have the leadership and organizational skills of a TSA member.

If you enjoy being around people and like working with innovations in technology, technology education is an outstanding career choice. Students in TSA make excellent technology teacher candidates because they:

  • Are responsible leaders and hands-on problem solvers
  • Work as team members
  • Have learned knowledge about the role of technology in our world
  • Have had years to hone valuable skills in the areas of STEMScience, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education through chapter clubs and competitive events

If you aspire to be successful in a future career in a technology field, TSA is perfect for you. Whatever your plans may be, TSA will aid you in furthering your knowledge and understanding of technology in an exciting and competitive way.
